Raine Wierstra

Hello! I am a young artist based in Kelowna, British Columbia. Born in Ottawa, I grew up across Canada as a military kid, which exposed me to a variety of landscapes, cultures, and communities that deeply influenced my artistic voice. Art has always been a part of my life; the concepts of creating and design have fueled my passion from an early age.

My work is primarily in abstract multimedia paintings, where I express my thoughts and emotions through bold colors, layered textures, and dynamic shapes. I believe that the most intriguing art pieces have depth, with vibrant colors, diverse layers, and textures that draw people in. Currently, I’m exploring new mediums such as metal art and ceramics, expanding the range of my artistic expression.

Each of my pieces is designed to be a statement piece—bringing energy, excitement, and vibrancy to any room. I tend to gravitate towards bold expressions, aiming to create art that not only catches the eye but also inspires others. My ultimate goal is to spread my art widely, sharing its vibrancy and depth to bring joy and inspiration to those who experience it.
